Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Sidney, Montana. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with a 9-hour night shift, offering an immersive opportunity in a rural Montana setting.

The US Tech will perform ultrasound exams, ensure image quality for physician interpretation, and assist with patient care during procedures. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, along with BLS, ARDMS certification, and any state

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARDMS certification and state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image accuracy for interpretation.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff for immediate attention.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any machinery failures.
• Conduct scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
