• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Length: 13 weeks

Details

• Outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting
• Monday‑Friday day shift (8:00‑5:00pm, first appointment 8:30, last 3:45)
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• No on‑call or weekend requirements
• Holiday coverage every other holiday
• Must have experience with GE Voluson 6 ultrasound equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive diagnostic procedures (needle biopsies, aspirations, guided needle‑wire placements)
• Provide training and standardization to residents on ultrasound procedures and techniques
• Perform real‑time scanning while acquiring and recording Doppler signals and imaging data for physician interpretation
• Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissues, structures, and blood flow, and escalates findings that require radiologist observation
• Evaluate contraindications prior to procedures (medications, preparation status, tolerance)
• Complete all departmental sonographer competencies within 12 months and maintain annual modality competencies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• ARMDs RDMS certification with at least one modality‑specific certification relevant to OB/GYN (e.g., Abd, OB/GYN, RVT)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Completion of a 12‑month Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent
• Proficiency with GE Voluson 6 ultrasound equipment
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references
