American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 2+ years of general, OB, and vascular sonography experience for a high-volume imaging department in Texas.

The role demands confidence, self-sufficiency, and the ability to perform general, OB (1st-3rd trimester), and vascular studies on a travel basis. Schedule includes 2x12-hour shifts on weekends plus 1x8-hour shift midweek, with back-up call per rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general, OB and vascular ultrasound experience.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• RDMS-AB or RDMS-OB certification required; RDMS-RVT preferred.
• Active Texas license if applicable.
• Must be confident, self-sufficient and capable in a busy department.

Responsibilities

• Imaging/Ultrasound department setting.
• Performs general, small parts, OB (1st-3rd trimester) and full vascular ultrasound studies.
• Schedule includes 2x12-hour shifts on Sat/Sun and 1x8-hour shift on Mon.
• Requires 1 week of back-up call per rotation, Mon-Fri 2000-0700.
• Must reside >50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions.
• Scrub colors required: black, dark grey, or Caribbean blue.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
