Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a general ultrasound position at a community hospital in California. The role includes OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, and small parts imaging with GE equipment and PACS, on a 4x10 hour day schedule and potential on-call shifts.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience, ARDMS certification, BLS, and a compact state license if applicable; RVT and ARRT-R are preferred. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting.
• ARDMS certification in at least one category required.
• BLS certification required; RVT preferred.
• Compact state license required at submission if applicable.
• Experience with community hospital workflow and Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and cardiology ultrasound exams in a community hospital.
• OB/GYN studies including all trimesters and fetal surveys.
• Vascular, renal/pelvis, and small parts imaging.
• Use GE ultrasound and PACS; assist with procedures.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with possible on-call during nights.
• Occasional travel between sister facilities and adherence to holidays.
