Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on Gen/Vascular imaging, requiring at least one year of recent ultrasound experience and ARDMS/ARRT certifications if available.

Responsibilities include performing high-quality exams, patient prep, equipment calibration, and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure accurate, timely diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Preferred ARDMS and ARRT certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform gen/vascular ultrasound examinations with high technical quality.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations ensuring comfort and safety.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for optimal performance.
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value; document findings per policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
