Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role involves performing general and vascular imaging, patient preparation, and close collaboration with clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses.

Required qualifications include accredited ultrasound training, 1 year of experience, BLS, and state licensure; ARDMS/ARRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound and related imaging.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate imaging into care plans.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy and document findings.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
