Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Midland, TX.

The Gen/Vascular role requires completion of an accredited program and one year of experience; BLS certification and a valid ultrasound license are required, with ARDMS/ARRT preferred. You will join a supportive clinical team and enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety standards.
