Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Shreveport, LA. The Gen/Vascular role involves imaging, patient prep, and collaboration with a clinical team to deliver diagnostic results.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1+ year of experience, BLS, and state licensure; ARDMS/ARRT certifications are preferred. Comprehensive benefits accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography for general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and function.
