Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Poplar Bluff, MO. You will perform general and vascular ultrasound studies, prep patients, and contribute to diagnostic imaging within a supportive clinical team.

Requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1 year of recent experience, current BLS, and a valid ultrasound license. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role with 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging while prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and functionality.
• Apply technical expertise to perform sonographic procedures effectively.
• Work in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
