Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Needham, MA. This 8-week position includes 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week, offering travel compensation and benefits.

The role emphasizes continuous cardiac monitoring and high-quality patient care within a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate has at least one year of Telemetry RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and willingness to obtain PCCN/NIHSS if not already held.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Assist with cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety in the telemetry unit.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
