Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring and comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, with 12-hour night shifts over an 8-week period.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Telemetry RN experience, current active RN license, and BLS plus ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include competitive pay and clinical support from our team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
