Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland. The role covers three 12-hour night shifts per week, with weekends on rotation and a 13-week duration.

Requirements include active RN license, 2+ years telemetry experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation test with high accuracy. Eligible locals within 60 miles will be considered.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (MD or compact) required.
• Telemetry nursing experience (minimum 2 years) required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms.
• First time travelers are accepted for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
• Every other weekend coverage required, totaling six weekends per contract.
• Floating within RN telemetry scope as needed.
• Provide nursing care and monitoring for telemetry patients.
