Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux Falls, SD. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer treatments, and collaborate with a clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit.

The role requires 1 year of Telemetry RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Shift is 12 hours, nights, with 36 hours per week and travel benefits provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license per state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) current.
• ACLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications with emphasis on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in telemetry care.
• Document patient status and notify physicians as needed.
• Respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per protocols.
• Record nursing history and assessments.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
