Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment in Pierre, South Dakota. The position offers 36 hours per week, evening shifts, and a chance to travel while delivering cardiac care.

The Telemetry RN will monitor rhythms, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to support patients with cardiac conditions. A minimum of 1 year Telemetry experience, SD RN license, BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Active RN license in SD.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification.
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification (preferred).
• NIHSS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vitals, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments for cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in the telemetry unit.
• Documents nursing assessments and patient responses.
• Educates patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
