Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Sioux Falls, SD. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, and the chance to deliver high-quality patient care while exploring new locales.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Manage multiple patients, prioritizing by acuity.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with families and resources.
