Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. The position is a 13-week travel role with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, starting 10/12/2026. The nurse will monitor telemetry equipment and provide bedside care in acute care settings.

Required are BLS and ACLS certifications with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Travel nurses earn competitive pay with benefits and weekly stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN Telemetry specialty and travel nursing exposure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and patient data.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and alert the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring results.
