Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a 28-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring and high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit.

You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift with travel benefits, competitive pay, and a supportive clinical team. IL licensed RNs with BLS and ACLS are required, plus one year of telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and vital signs; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort in the telemetry unit.
• Documents nursing history and patient responses to interventions.
• Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and hospital policies.
