Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 26-week travel assignment in Springfield, MO. The RN will provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring in telemetry, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week, while benefiting from travel pay and a full benefits package.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of telemetry experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred. Start ASAP is expected, with support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; responds to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort in the telemetry unit.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
