Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and travel employment eligibility.

The RN should have 1-2 years of acute care experience; BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications are required or may be required. You will monitor telemetry data and coordinate with the care team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience
• Telemetry RN experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required or as specified

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring information shows adverse symptomatology.
