Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Telemetry Travel Nurse to Springfield, MO. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a night shift, 12-hour blocks. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care RN experience and current BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications.

Travel experience is preferred and pay packages are based on 12-hour shifts. The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, BP, respiratory status and ECG data, interpreting data to guide patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse signs.
