Job summary

Newsandtribune in Milwaukee seeks a Surgical Technologist for a Level III Trauma Center OR, requiring 2 years of general surgery experience with vascular capability. The role uses EPIC EMR and supports a busy 21-bed OR with 1:1 patient care.

On-call with 30-minute response, 8-hour days from 5:30 to 7:00, and no weekend rotations for day shift. Responsibilities include a range of cases (vascular, breast/plastics, laparoscopic, GU, GYN, oncology) and potential Xi robotic exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of core surgical technologist experience required, with most recent experience within the last year.
• BLS certification required.
• Active license required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Surgical technologist works in a Level III Trauma Center OR with 21 beds and 1:1 patient ratio.
• Assist general surgery cases including vascular, breast/plastics, laparoscopic, GU, GYN, oncology.
• Robotic surgery (Xi) exposure possible; training may be limited.
• 8-hour day shifts with start times 0530–0700 and no weekend rotation for day shift.
