Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and provide support to the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and optimal workflow in a perioperative setting.

Requirements include NBSTSA certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of OR experience in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current NBSTSA certification as Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a certified OR tech in a surgical environment.
• Experience working in a hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to work 4x10 schedules in a perioperative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and sterile equipment for surgery.
• Sterilize instruments and manage turnover between cases.
• Provide support to the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
