Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in this setting.
• National Certification, NBSTSA highly recommended
• Valid Surgical Technologist license or registration if required by state
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during surgery and transfer patients to/from the OR.
• Position patients on the operating table and prep for surgery.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterilize instruments and OR equipment.
• Manage surgical supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Support specialized case types and settings in acute care or outpatient centers.
