Description:

Title: Surgical Technologist, ST, CST, CVOR Tech

Position Purpose: Are you an experienced Surgical Technologist looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility? Explore FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution! FirstChoice Surgical Technologists fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system. We need you to be part of this innovative program! What you will do:

• Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations and regions
• Understand and demonstrate professional practice elements: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Act independently within your scope of knowledge and experience
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• At least 18 months of CST experience required
• If trained on the job or in the military, 5 years of work experience required
• No concurrent employment at Trinity Health facility
• Ability to complete orientation and training, with flexible options available
