Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) position located at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. The clinician will be involved in a variety of procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs, thoracic surgeries, and vascular interventions, requiring strong surgical experience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic surgical environment. The assignment begins on 01/04/2027 and spans approximately three months.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift hours are 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room surgery, specifically in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular specialties.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with travel assignments is preferred; expertise in surgical procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, transplant, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This assignment features an open contract length of 13 weeks or longer. The clinician will onboard at the Ruby facility for one week before transferring to the designated hospital location. The role requires mandatory call, with one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month, with a 30-minute response time. Call responses may include holiday coverage as needed. The clinician must adhere to hospital issued surgical scrubs (ceil blue). The charting system used is EPIC. This position does not require BSN or license submissions. The start date for this assignment is 01/04/2027, and the end date is 04/05/2027.
