Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist based in a healthcare facility. This position involves supporting cardiac surgery procedures in a Level I trauma environment. The role requires clinical expertise in cardiovascular operative procedures, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); open heart surgery experience; level I trauma experience; minimum of 0 years of experience; location within 50 miles of the facility; EPIC electronic medical records experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with angioplasty/stenting, aortic aneurysm repair, aseptic technique, atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), pressure ulcer prevention, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), universal protocol (time out), ventricular assist device (VAD).
• Additional Information: Candidate must be able to support COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free; applicants should notify travelers prior to submission. RTO (Reduced Time Off) is limited to a maximum of 7 days.
