Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist position located at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing surgical support for open heart procedures, requiring specialized skills in cardiovascular operations. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care within a trauma-level I environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting), Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidate must have current certification in Surgical Technology. Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) required, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and at least 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular Surgical Procedures (CVOR).
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience recommended.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed.
• Additional Information: Requires open heart surgery experience, including procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Mitral Valve Replacement, and other cardiovascular surgeries. Candidates must be able to start on 10/12/2026 and work through 01/11/2027, with RTO (Request for Time Off) maximum of 7 days. Candidate must hold a PA license if applicable, and must pass the EKG exam within 72 hours of signing the travel contract if required by the facility.
