Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lebanon, NH. You will prep ORs, maintain sterile technique, and assist surgeons across multiple specialties in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates have NS Tech certification, BLS, and trauma-center experience within the last 2 years, and must obtain NH licensure if eligible. This travel role offers housing resources and a 40-hour week with four 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Active certification as Surgical Technologist is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years is required.
• Must be eligible for New Hampshire Medical Technician licensure upon acceptance.
• Experience working in a hospital operating room environment is required.
• Must meet all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements.
• Drug screening including THC testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention standards.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Inspect, assemble, and ensure proper functionality of instruments and equipment.
• Support surgical teams across various specialties and patient populations.
• Ensure accurate instrument counts and sterile field integrity.
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document and maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality surgical environment focused on patient outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience supporting surgical procedures in a hospital operating room setting
• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and infection prevention practices
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
• Ability to adapt to varying surgical cases and patient populations
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and surgical excellence
