American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist First Assist for a hospital role covering General, Orthopedic, and Robotic specialties in Florida. The position is a 13-week assignment with day shift hours and on-call requirements.

The ideal candidate holds CST-FA certification (RN FA accepted) and must maintain licensure as applicable. Travel or local candidates are welcome; benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must have CST-FA certification; RN FA acceptable as alternative.
• License required if applicable.
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Hospital surgical services setting supporting General, Ortho, and Robotic specialties
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-3pm
• Weekday and weekend call required, approximately 14 days per month (7 days every other week)
• One on-call weekend per month
• 13-week assignment at 40 hours per week
• Function as a surgical first assist across General, Orthopedic, and Robotic surgical cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers with no radius rule
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
