Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Travel First Assist for an Operating Room position in Naples, Florida. The role requires CFA or CSA certification, or RNFA acceptance, and BLS certification.

CST experience is preferred, with at least one year of recent OR work and a license if applicable. The assignment includes day shifts (6:30a-5p or 7a-7p) with call, cross-campus coverage as needed, housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• CFA or CSA required; RNFA also accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• CST experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required.
• License required if applicable.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting supporting surgical procedures.
• Day shift schedule (6:30a-5p and/or 7a-7p) with call requirements.
• Call rotation covering 4-5 weekday evening/night shifts and 2-4 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule.
• Will float between campuses as needed.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other surgical team members during procedures.
• Help ensure the operating room is clean before, during, and after surgery.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Not eligible for consideration if previously employed at this facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
