Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with 3 years of multi-specialty OR experience for a 13-week hospital assignment. You will assist in ENT, General, GYN, Neuro/Crani/Spine, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular and Robotics procedures and support the surgical team in high‑volume cases.

The position requires NBSTSA certification, BLS certification (AHA), a high school diploma and a license if applicable.

Qualifications

• 3 years of operating room experience
• NBSTSA Certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• High school diploma required
• License required if applicable
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support ENT, General, GYN, Neuro/Crani/Spine, Ortho, Urology, Vascular, and Robotics procedures.
• 4 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday, starting at 06:30 with days assigned on arrival based on unit need.
• On-call requirement of 10 shifts per month, including weekends.
• 13-week assignment.
• Plan and prepare for surgical procedures and assist the surgeon.
• Sterilize surgical equipment and assemble scheduled and emergency case carts.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• First-time travelers may be considered.

• Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures and assisting the surgeon

• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
