Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring experience with da Vinci robotics and multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Hospital-based general OR and ambulatory OR setting with trauma exposure
• Cases span general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, neuro, gynecology, and urology
• Experience with da Vinci robotics required
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00am-5:30pm with a rotating day off
• Required call coverage

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an ORT/CST required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• State or Compact license required if applicable
• Experience across vascular, gynecology, neuro, general surgery, orthopedic, urology, ENT, bariatric, and thoracic procedures preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested RTO must be listed at time of consideration, with no more than 3 days typically approved and none during the first week of orientation
• Onboarding requires completion of core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Epic charting experience preferred
