• SPD includes a runner for tray transport and handles IUSS processing.
• Local travel eligibility applies with a 50-mile radius rule.
• Former permanent employees may return within 12 months.

• Follows 4S Systemwide process starting decontamination at the field through SPD completion
• Handles OB equipment in addition to standard trays
• Uses electronic tracking system (SPM) for tray set recipes
• Runs and logs biological controls
• Works with Steris Steam Sterilizer and Pro low temp equipment
• Department includes a runner role for tray transport
• SPD is responsible for IUSS processing
• Accepts local candidates at a lower rate
• 50-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
• Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last shift worked
