Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Stepdown or progressive care environment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to Stepdown patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Provide patient and family education, offering support throughout transitions in care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
