MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Evansville, Indiana. Join a top healthcare client to provide specialized step-down care during 12-hour night shifts, for a 13-week contract.

• 18 months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and signs/symptoms of physiologic and psychosocial changes; uses nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data; documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the plan of care with outcomes and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and family education.
• Revises the plan of care as needed based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
