Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document patient data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
• Revise the care plan as needed based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
