Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Bay City, Michigan. This assignment requires 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week for 13 weeks, starting 10/26/2026.

Active Michigan RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care experience are preferred. Cerner experience is desirable, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, medication management, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience in Stepdown/Progressive Care.
• Telemetry monitoring experience.
• Cerner experience.

Responsibilities

• Attendance policy adherence to ensure patient care needs.
• Monitor patients using advanced equipment and telemetry.
• Assess, intervene, and perform life-saving measures when needed.
• Administer complex medications and titrate IV therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately.
