Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Kearney, NE. The position offers nights, 3 days x 12 hours, with competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Candidates must have 1 year Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS. The facility provides a supportive team and opportunities to impact patient care across telemetry units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer meds and treatments per protocols, focused on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintain comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document assessments and notify physician of status.
• Respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies per policies.
• Record nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for telemetry care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
