Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 4-week travel assignment in Keene, NH. You will provide specialized care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and cardiac interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: PCCN Certification.
• Preferred: NIHSS Certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; respond to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for telemetry patients.
