Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med Surg/Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Beaufort, SC. Night shift required with frequent floating between MedSurg and Stepdown units. Active SC license and BLS are required; ACLS/NIHSS preferred.

22-bed oncology unit, Meditech EMR, and weekend/holiday rotations are included. Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience and stepdown exposure are essential. Travel experience welcome; housing allowance and travel reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience required.
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to floating expectations.
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required.
• Travel experience preferred but not required.
• Meditech charting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across MedSurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units as needed.
• Night shift on a 22-bed adult MS Oncology unit with frequent floating.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00).
• Patient ratios: Stepdown 1:4-5, MedSurg 1:5-6.
• Schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
• EMR: Meditech.
• 13-week contract with possible extension.
• High floating expectations per facility policies.
