Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role focuses on patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS are preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Formación

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac procedures
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Adheres to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines
