Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, AL. You will provide stepdown care for patients transitioning from ICU, with emphasis on telemetry monitoring and cardiac support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments; notifies physician of status.
• Responds to life-saving situations per cardiac protocols.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
