Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for an assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The position requires 12-hour night shifts and a total of 36 hours per week, with a 13-week contract and a start date of 11/16/2026.

Job (Skills & Requirements)

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of experience with this patient population.
• Licensure: License to Submit: Yes.
• RN's exam: Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation requiring a 90% to pass.
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4, 1:3 for post-surgical patients in the first 24 hours.
• Charge Nurse: Yes, but rare to take assignment.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
• BSN Required: False.
• Clinical Experience: Experience with intermediate care, downgraded CVICU patients, thoracic program support, EP, cath lab, structural heart, and management of cardiac and vascular related diagnoses.
• Required Skills: Ability to titrate drips, read and interpret telemonitor strips. Common titratable drips include Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, cardizem, and other blood pressure medications.
• Shift & Scheduling: Manager does schedule; 12-hour shifts.
• Dress Code: Navy Blue.
• Floating Requirements: Will float to all same level and lower levels of acuity.
• Charting System: EPIC.
