Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
