Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Howell, Michigan. You will provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with telemetry monitoring and cardiac-focused interventions.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
