Qualifications
- 1 year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
- Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Monitors telemetry data, vital signs, and interprets cardiac rhythms to detect abnormalities and respond.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
- Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac-related procedures.
- Educates patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
- Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
- Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
