Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a Stepdown RN to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from critical care, with close monitoring and complex interventions to support recovery.

Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry, administering medications, assisting with cardiac procedures, documenting responses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Stepdown RN experience.
• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist with patient care and equipment.
• Proficient in English; basic computer skills.
