Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care as patients transition from ICU to general units. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, assist with procedures, and ensure high safety and quality of care during travel assignments.

Candidates must have at least one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification; PCCN and NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications.

Job description

Role: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general units.

Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, observe patient conditions, respond to emergencies, document assessments, educate patients on cardiac health, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications: At least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS.

Skills & Abilities: Critical thinking, strong communication, physical ability to assist with equipment, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Must possess visual acuity and sensory skills.
