Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN in Springfield, Missouri for a 13-week Stepdown assignment. The role requires a current RN license with Missouri eligibility, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and trauma/ED experience; shifts are 12 hours days, with 36 hours weekly guaranteed.

The unit is a high-volume urban trauma center with EPIC EMR and 68 beds, where nurses work in a fast-paced environment caring for a range of acuity.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (TNCC/ NIHSS optional but recommended).
• 1 year Tele, Stepdown or ED experience.
• Experience in high-acuity trauma settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a busy Stepdown unit with 4:1 ratios.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Maintain EPIC EMR documentation and patient monitoring.
• Follow facility policies and schedule blocks accordingly.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: trauma/peds, 200+patients/day, high acuity experience preferred
