Job description

Role: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

• Key Duties: Develop individualized treatment plans, perform screenings, educate patients and families, report progress, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with guidelines.
• Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months' experience (new grads encouraged), current BLS and ASHA-SLP certification, valid state license, and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, or leaning.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; excellent communication skills; ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Additional Requirements: Additional certifications may be needed prior to assignment.

This role offers a 13-week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, with work primarily during daytime hours. Compensation includes weekly pay, guaranteed hours, benefits, and ongoing education opportunities.
